Ober is 0-2 with a 3.38 ERA in his last three starts but pitched six shutout innings against the Cleveland Guardians last Friday in a no-decision at Minnesota. He yielded four hits, struck out three and walked none.
This will be Ober’s first career appearance against the Rays.
Ober has won both road starts this season with a 0.69 ERA. He is 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA in four starts during the day. Ober has posted quality starts in four of his eight outings and the Twins have a 5-3 record when he pitches.
